What Fixara does not do
- Fixara is not a certified cash register. Some countries require one: the software shows the rule for your country.
- A SumUp terminal is matched automatically where SumUp operates, but Fixara does not start the payment on the terminal.
A sale in three steps
Scan the item or search for it, pick the payment method, take payment. Stock goes down, the sale is recorded, and if the customer wants an invoice, the sale becomes one without being counted twice.
Taking payment for a repair
When a device is handed back, one window shows what is invoiced, how the customer pays and what they take home. The customer’s credit notes and points are ticked in front of them; the amount to take updates.
The end-of-day closing
The closing adds up each payment method, takes the cash float from the day before and lets you count the cash. It can run by itself at the time you choose, except when there is cash to count.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect a card terminal?
Yes, SumUp, where it operates: each card payment is found and linked to its invoice. The amount is still typed on the terminal.
Can a customer pay in instalments?
Yes, 2 to 4. The invoice is issued for the full amount and settled with the last instalment.
Do I need a repair ticket to sell a case?
No: the counter till sells an item directly, by scan or from the shelf.
The customer wants an invoice afterwards: is that possible?
Yes: the sale becomes an invoice in their name, without counting the takings twice.
Can a payment be part cash, part card?
Yes, a split payment spreads one payment across two methods.
